The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka has said the Opposition alliance risks losing crucial seats during next month's polls to their rivals Jubilee Party.

Speaking in Narok County on Thursday, Kalonzo warned that sibling rivalry among NASA partner parties will give Jubilee an upper hand in the August polls.

NASA brings together five parties namely; Wiper led by Kalonzo, Raila Odinga's ODM, Ford Kenya led by Moses Wetang'ula, Musalia Mudavadi's ANC and Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) which is led by Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.

The Wiper leader cited Narok County gubernatorial contest where Patrick Ntutu of CCM and Joseph Tiampati (ODM) are seeking to unseat the incumbent Samuel Tunai of Jubilee Party.

"One of our candidates should step down for the other. If they don't, Tunai will beat them and we do not want this to happen," Kalonzo said.

He endorsed Patrick Ntutu to run against JP's Tunai noting that he had the capability of delivering the much-needed win.

He asked his co-principal and ODM party leader Raila to intervene so that Tiampati, whom he said has slim chances of winning, throws in the towel in favour of the CCM's Ntutu.

Speaking at the same rally, CCM Narok woman representative aspirant Lydia Ntimama lashed at their ODM colleagues for undermining other partners in NASA.

"ODM members think that they are more superior than others and failure to involve equal members could surely cost us some of the top seats," Ntimama noted.
