In an interview with Radio Jambo on Thursday, Kalonzo admitted that Cord principals had ideological differences that did not warrant dissolution of the coalition.

''I am not in any way leaving Cord, together with other leaders just have different views and that is understandable," said Kalonzo.

He further affirmed that the coalition is still united and the top leadership was working on a formula of selecting a flagbearer.

Kalonzo has been lately under pressure from the Ukambani leaders who want him to run for the top job on Cord ticket and endorsing him as best placed candidate to send the Jubilee leadership home in the next polls.
