Wiper-Kenya (Wiper-K) leader Kalonzo Musyoka has declared he has no political debts.
Speaking to Saturday Nation newspaper reporters at his Karen home in Nairobi on Thursday, Kalonzo said his past political associations with other leaders was proof enough he had paid all his political debts.
He referred to his associations with former presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki and currently with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga and hence said he had shown his allegiance to political leaders both in past and present.
"I have shown my political allegiance to different political leaders from different parts of the country. I was with Daniel Moi during his presidency, I worked with Mwai Kibaki and I am currently with Raila Odinga. I have no political debt to the Kalenjins, Kikuyus and Luos since I have worked with them," said Kalonzo.
He also weighed in on being in the opposition and said it was a painful experience and hence reiterated that Cord coalition was going to work hard to ensure they unseat Jubilee party from the government.
He however ruled out a move to Jubilee party as has been speculated by various media outlets terming the news as propaganda that was not going to hamper Cord's work towards 2017 elections.
