Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka claims that he taught Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery tactics on participating in street riots.
Nkaissery, a former General with Kenya Army, is not allowed to participate in protests at a former member of disciplined forces.
Kalonzo, who was speaking in Namanga on Friday, narrated how he persuaded Nkaissery to protest against Mwai Kibaki’s team which had attempted to force new constitution on the people of Kenya without proper public participation.
“I taught General Nkaissery how to riot when we were fighting Kibaki’s new constitution in 2005. I had to force him literally to engage in protests,” he said.
“It is so difficult to persuade military people to join protests and I think they must be much disciplined people,” he added.
Nkaissery confirmed when addressing mourners but cautioned opposition leaders against engaging in street protests.
