Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said he is the best opposition candidate to dislodge President Uhuru Kenyatta from power in the August 8 general election.
The former Vice President asked his Cord co-principals Raila Odinga (ODM) and Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya) to support his bid in order to send home Jubilee administration in the forthcoming polls.
“I am determined to deliver early victory. My colleagues in Cord should back me for the opposition to win the election in the first round,” said Kalonzo.
Speaking in his Ukambani backyard during a voter registration sensitisation tour, Kalonzo said he is very ready and determined to take on Jubilee and pleaded with residents to register.
“I am urging you to register in larger numbers because there is no retreating. For a long time, people have said Kalonzo is a diplomat but I want to tell them that this time round we are going to play it the hard way,” Kalonzo said while addressing a crowd in Machakos bus park.
