Wiper Democratic Movement Party Organizing Secretary Robert Mbui has dismissed claims suggesting that Kalonzo Musyoka has become a 'cry baby' who wants to be given the NASA presidential flag on a silver platter.

Mbui has said that Kalonzo is simply demanding what is rightfully his as an equal player in the NASA coalition adding that power is taken and not given.

"My party leader is not begging for anything. We believe that Kalonzo is the best person to fly NASA flag and is our best bet. When you try the best striker in a foortball team twice during a penalty and he strikes the ball out, it is always wise to try the next person," said Mbui on K24's Faceoff show on Tuesday.

He added that though Raila Odinga was extremely popular, there is a feeling among NASA supporters that he may not 'score' for the coalition and, therefore, the need to have Kalonzo to step in.

Mbui said that Kalonzo has a solid base behind him in the name of Kamba nation and for that reason he should be able to deliver the presidency for NASA with the support of other co-principals.

"He is the most sellable candidate within NASA and this time round we should not bet wrongly and waste the opportunity to dislodge the corrupt Jubilee from power," Mbui added.

This comes even as Wiper on Tuesday gave NASA one month to name a flagbearer during what has come to be christened as the Emali declaration.
