Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has said Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is a selfish man who can't stand a competition.
Speaking during his two days bench marking tour in Nyeri County on Thursday, Mutua said Kalonzo's last Monday's endorsement was Wiper's decision and not the community's.
Mutua said the president's seat is not for special people but anyone who is eligible and can charm electorates to cast votes in his favor.
"I have never seen a man who is threatened by competition that much, the presidency seat is open for anyone eligible to vie so long as you have the capability to convince the voters," Mutua said.
He described Kalonzo as someone who likes to smear dirt and belittle anyone who tries to oppose him or show competition.
Mutua dismissed claims by some Wiper leaders that he is dividing the Kamba community.
"I am not dividing the community but rather serving it," he said.
"Kamba people need a visionary leader, someone who can actualize development and show them that it is possible," Mutua added.
Mutua said his presidential bid is solid and he's positive Kamba land will produce the 10th president.
