Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has instructed MPs elected on the party ticket to pass the proposed Uhuru - Raila pact endorsement motion in condition that it provides for inclusive dialogue.
Kalonzo was referring to the motion in parliament meant to endorse the dialogue held between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
"The motion in parliament to endorse the dialogue held between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga should have waited until next week after other parties in the NASA coalition meet and deliberate on the unfolding events. Therefore, Wiper members of parliament should pass the motion if it is only going to be an all-inclusive dialogue," Kalonzo said.
He addressed the press at the African Brotherhood Church Headquarters in Machakos County on Wednesday.
Kalonzo said no peace-loving leader would oppose a constructive dialogue.
He said it would be better if NASA as a coalition was allowed to be part of the Uhuru-Raila dialogue.
"We believe in constructive dialogue..The three of us- Wetang'ula, Mudavadi and I may have to meet president Kenyatta so that we could also hear from him," Kalonzo said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta met with Raila on Friday ready for dialogue that would help bring unity in a country divided on lines of tribalism.
