Nasa deputy president candidate Kalonzo Musyoka has issued fresh demands to Raila Odinga. 

The Wiper party leader is demanding a sacrifice from Raila in the Taita Taveta gubernatorial battle. 

Musyoka wants Odinga to back Wiper candidate Granton Samboja.

Speaking in Mwatate constituency at Kamtonga, Musyoka urged the opposition leader to support him in Taita Taveta. 

According to Musyoka, his decision to support Odinga’s presidential bid should be appreciated by ODM endorsing the Wiper aspirant.

“I left my presidential bid to Raila and I kindly ask him to leave the Taita Taveta governor post to Wiper candidate Granton Samboja. ODM candidate Thomas Mwadeghu is our friend. We are building and supporting each other,” Kalonzo said as reported by the Star.

Kalonzo also campaigned for other Wiper candidates. He dismissed Senator Dan Mwanzo for joining Jubilee and asked residents to vote him out.

During the rallies, Kalonzo also met with Akamba community members at Njukini in Taveta and Kisimenyi in Voi where he urged them to vote for wiper aspirants.

“I want you to support Priscilla Mwangeka for woman representative position, Engineer Elijah Mwandoe for senator and Granton Samboja for governor. I am optimistic that this time round, Wiper party will win more than ten MCA slots in Taita Taveta,” Musyoka said.
