Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has issued conditions that will compel him to be 'sworn in' as the 'people's deputy president'.
Musyoka's sentiments come after he was condemned by a section of NASA supporters for failing to show up for the swearing-in of Odinga on January 30.
According to Kalonzo, he is ready to be sworn provided that Odinga agrees on the consequences.Speaking in Athi River on Tuesday, he acknowledged that the 'swearing-in' was against the law.
"Raila Odinga and I know that swearing in is against the Constitution. So, if we say that we shall take the illegal oath and we agree on the consequences, then I am ready," said Kalonzo.
He stated that the occasion should be done following proper legal channels.Kalonzo, Musalia Mudavadi (Amani National Congress) and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya) skipped the event.
