Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is seemingly the second and current victim of opposition leader Raila Odinga's recent political activities.
With the National Super Alliance (NASA), apparently, being on its deathbed, as a result of the recent internal wrangles revolving around Odinga's truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta, the former Vice President's party seems stranded, with the others proceeding to pick sides.
The remaining NASA member parties; Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress (ANC) and the Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula-led Ford Kenya have since announced that they will soon be embarking on a union plan.
However, the formations have not included Kalonzo's side in the plan, despite having joined hands in condemning Odinga earlier, with their lawmakers saying that the move is solely aimed at uniting the Luhya nation ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), on the other hand, seems uninterested in the latest unfolding, with there being insinuations that it might soon join the Jubilee government's side, leaving Kalonzo and his party all alone.
This leaves Kalonzo's political fate blurry, with the nation eagerly awaiting his next move at a time when things seem to be worsening in the 4 party coalition.
