Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that the newly formed Jubilee Party will not last long as half of the members will leave ahead of the 2017 polls.
According to Kalonzo, lack of democracy in the outfit will force dissatisfied members to join the opposition.
The Cord co- principal who was speaking in Machakos on Monday said that the nomination process will be the beginning of Jubilee's fall because some candidates will be rigged out.
"You will see how they will abandon the party because they will be outdoing each other in vote rigging," said Kalonzo.
He further affirmed that the Cord coalition will remain strong and united while at the same time extending an olive branch to the dissatisfied JAP members to join the opposition.
"Half of Jubilee Party leaders will join us. We in Cord will remain United," said Kalonzo.
Formation of JP has led to an uproar among the opposition leaders who have accused the Jubilee government of trying to re-introduce the one-party system in the country while at the same time killing democracy.
However, JP ranks have maintained that the party will aim at uniting the country and do away will tribal based politics.
