Wiper leader and former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka has accused Deputy President William Ruto of killing freedoms and systematic marginalization of regions.
According to the outspoken Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) co- principal, the coalition must do all it can to save the nation from the deputy president to realize the vision 2030.
Speaking to the press at his Karen home, Wiper leader said that UhuRuto government should not be given another term in office for failing to keep their promises.
“Ruto said the only option was for Kambas to join government. But who said that option included Jubilee? This country must be saved from Mr Ruto.
When you give the impression that you can buy everyone – and there are those who go there to collect Sh100, 000 every weekend – what does it say about the government you are running?” Mr Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo has also distanced himself from rumors that he wants to ditch Cord. “What I meant was that I must win. Check exactly what I said. I want to have nothing to do with Jubilee.
Those trying to read the Tononoka statement to suit their interests are desperate. Those looking for excuses to break Cord cannot find them in me.” he said.
