Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka on Saturday launched a fresh attack on Ukambani politicians backing the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying that they are regretting the move.

The NASA presidential running mate said that the alliance is aware of Jubilee plan to coerce their leaders to support Uhuru when that time comes. He was speaking in Western Kenya during a vote hunt tour alongside NASA presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga and other politicians from the alliance.

“They are trying to coerce our leaders to support them but let me tell you even in Ukambani those people who went to State House are regretting why they did so," he said, as quoted by Nation.

Kalonzo, who has hinted at contesting for Presidency in 2022, also said that Western and Eastern region are strongly behind the leader Raila.

“Western and Eastern regions are locked in Nasa and will vote for its presidential candidate,” said Mr Musyoka.

He further said that Jubilee leaders were not elected but their results were computer generated.

“Let Jubilee leaders understand that they were not elected by majority Kenyans but they were computer generated; we need real leaders that will be accepted by Kenyans through a free and fair election for peace to prevail,” he said.
