[Photo|Nasa coalition]The Wiper Democratic Movement Kenya (WDM-K) has made changes to its leadership, days after the August general election.Wiper whose leader is NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka, appointed former Nominated Senator Judith Sijeny as the party’s Secretary General.She succeeds former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar who joined Jubilee Party, citing lack of WDM-K's support for his gubernatorial bid.Prof Kivutha Kibwana, the Makueni county governor addition was appointed the party's national chairman.The two-time county boss succeeds former Kitui Senator David Musila, who defected to the Jubilee Party after failing to clinch a nomination ticket to vie for Kitui governor post.Musila later vied as an Independent candidate but lost to Charity Ngilu.The duo were appointed in an acting capacity following a party meeting early this week.WDM-K Organizing Secretary Robert Mbui said, the National Executive Committee (NEC) will hold a national convention to ratify the appointments.
