Former Vice Presidents Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka have reportedly disowned Raila Odinga's endorsement of a Ford Kenya candidate in Kitutu Chache South.
On Friday through a phone call to Moses Wetangula, Odinga backed Richard Onyonka adding that the coalition had reached the agreement despite it fielding three other candidates.
"We came to an agreement that we support one strong candidate and we must also vote as one unit," he said.
But Wiper candidate Andrew Maobe has dismissed the alleged agreement adding that it does not have blessings of Musyoka.
"My party leader told me that everything is okay and gave me blessings to contest. He never mentioned of an agreement."
Similar sentiments were expressed by Justus Mochoge of ANC who claimed that Mudavadi was not consulted.
"My party leader was not consulted and I am confident of delivering the seat for NASA," he told reporters.
Also in the race is ODM's Sam Omwando who has since been abandoned and Richard Kibagendi if Jubilee.
The election was postponed in August after the death of Leonard Mwamba, a Jubilee candidate few days to polls.
