Wiper Party Patron Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has confirmed that the political outfit has no plans to name another chairman after Senator David Musila presented his resignation letter.

The former Vice President also called upon aspirants who lost during nominations to back those who win ahead of the August polls.

“I urge those who lost in the nominations to work with the winners. Even the chairman’s seat will not be filled until after the Kitui election results,” he said. 

Kalonzo fell out with  Senator Musila after the latter lost during nominations. Musila accused Kalonzo of imposing leaders on the people after he was floored by the incumbent Dr Malombe Julius.  

Wiper leader has embarked on campaigns to popularize National Super Alliance (NASA) in Ukambani ahead of the August polls.

The former vice President is also on a mission to mend broken relationships among different leaders aligned to the alliance following differences as a result of nominations. 

Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga is banking on the support of Kalonzo, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and Bomet county boss Isaac Ruto also Chama Cha Mashinani leader among others to ascend to power when that time comes.
