Wiper party leader has made a rather surprising request to President Uhuru Kenyatta after he asked him to investigate his deputy William Ruto over corruption allegations.
He also stated that he was fully in support of Uhuru's directive that corrupt leaders have no space in government appointments.
He, however, challenged the president to start by investigating DP Ruto who he said is frustrating the Head of State.
"When you hear this guy called Ruto, he is the one who has been stressing the president. I fully support that corrupt officials should not be allowed to ascend to power but please start by investigating that person who is behind you," said Kalonzo.
The former Vice President was speaking on Tuesday at Ole Sereni after meeting Kamba leaders Charity Ngilu, Kivutha Kibwana and Wavinya Ndeti.
He also dismissed claims that he met with President Uhuru Kenyatta in Mombasa to talk of a pre-election pact.
