Speaking during a campaign rally at Kamukunji in Nairobi, Kalonzo said that the opposition has put in place the measures required to smoothly run the affairs of this country after the August general elections.
“The third and the last liberation of this country has come. We have put in place clear policies to enable us to run the next government smoothly,” said Kalonzo, as quoted by Star.
On his part, Raila, now NASA Presidential candidate said that Kenyans from different parts of the nation have seen the need to unite. He also launched an attack on the current government for failing to improve the lives of Kenyans despite having made many pledges before the last general elections. He further said that time has come to send Jubilee home in order to pave way for better leadership.
“Just like at Saba Saba, Kenyans have finally united and recognized that all communities are in the same precarious boat. Belonging to the president’s or deputy president’s communities has not brought you any security against destitution,” said Raila.
