National Super Alliance (NASA) running mate Kalonzo Musyoka has taken a swipe at President Kenyatta and his deputy for allegedly using ‘dirty tricks’ to lure leaders from Western and Ukambani to State House.

Speaking on Saturday in Bungoma during the burial of Austin Wamunyinyi, father of Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi, Musyoka said the will of the people matters most and not individual leaders.

“The leaders are representing their selfish interests and they will not give Jubilee any votes. In fact the votes he got in Western and Ukambani are computer generated, in fact the votes he got in Western and Ukambani are computer generated,” Kalonzo said as quoted by the Standard.

Musyoka, who is also the Wiper Party leader urged Public Prosecutor Keriako Tobiko to open charges against two individuals whom he said hacked the IEBC system and tampered with results of the nullified August 8 elections.

“We are telling Tobiko not to wait for the Supreme Court’s full judgment to prosecute those mentioned in hacking the IEBC servers but to act,” he added.

The team, which was led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga was in Bungoma, where they reiterated their stance that they will not participate in the October 17 polls if their demands are not met.

With fresh challenges hitting the electoral body, there are concerns that the date might be too soon, which will throw the country into a constitutional crisis.
