Wiper Party Patron Kalonzo Musyoka has said that the opposition will not tolerate any form of betrayal in their top ranks.
Speaking during an opposition rally at Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi on Wednesday, Kalonzo said that betrayal is likely to jeopardize the opposition as they look forward to unseating President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto during the next general polls.
The Ukambani political kingpin urged different leaders in the opposition to ensure that transparency prevails when it comes to choosing the flag bearer.
"We must put all our cards on the table," he said, as quoted by the Star.
The former vice president also said that he is ready to sacrifice his presidential bid once again because of his great love for this nation. Kalonzo has, however, affirmed that he will only shelf his presidential dream if other opposition leaders are also ready to do the same.
During the meeting, he asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) to ensure free and fair election. "This time we mean business. We are in a contest where we shall accept nothing less than a free, fair election," he added.
Kalonzo has been urging other leaders to back his battle it out with UhuRuto in the August election.
