NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has termed Raila Odinga's decision to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta 'self-seeking antic' further adding that he could not be trusted.
Through Wiper chairman Kivutha Kibwana, Kalonzo has regretted supporting Raila for two consecutive elections only to the latter to stab back.
"We regret that we have sacrificed 10 years for Raila. Was kalonzo wrong to back Raila in 2013? Would the Kalonzo- Musalia ticket in 2017 have offered Kenyans better chance?" he asked.
Although Kalonzo met Raila on Monday, the two are said not to have reached a consensus with Kibwana indicating that Kalonzo may meet Uhuru alone.
For Kibwana, Raila remains unpredictable on coalitions and warned that he might find it difficult to form coalitions in future.
"Unfortunately, in Kenya , coalition agreements are like fake marriage certificates or alternative toilet papers," he added.
While Raila remains tight lipped about his unprecedented agreement with Uhuru, sources say that a unity government may be in making.
With ODM endorsing the pact on Tuesday, Kalonzo's Wiper would make a decision on Friday and it is likely to oppose the move following Tuesday;s attempt by one of its member to forcefully take over as National Assembly Minority Leader.
