Opposition leader Kalonzo Musyoka has renewed his calls for dialogue as Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony closes in.
The former VP said that only dialogue would help unlock the political impasse the country is grappling with.
''People are saying that I have issued ultimatums. I have not issued an ultimatum to anyone. There's time between now and Tuesday for us to have dialogue. But now it's clear that we will have dialogue after Tuesday,'' Kalonzo Musyoka said.
Kalonzo Musyoka was speaking today in Homa Bay during a People's Assembly forum.
He warned that the country was sliding towards conflict and there was a need for the creation of a conflict resolution organ to help ease the tensions in the country.
