The Minority leader in Parliament and Wiper Democratic Movement MP Francis Nyenze caused jitters among the National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters after he declared that his party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will bolt out of NASA if not made flagbearer in a week.
However, an official statement by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka through his Secretary General Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar may somehow help to weaken the growing tension in the opposition coalition. In the statement, Wiper party indicated that they remain committed to the unity of NASA and their common enemy is Jubilee Party."From the onset, let me reiterate Wiper's unwavering commitment to NASA. Wiper is further conscious of its obligation to this nation and its prosperity to bring to an end Jubilee's misrule," reads the statement in part.Wiper also stated that they are ready to support NASA no matter who the coalition picks as flagbearer.
