Wiper Party leader and National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has urged Kenyans allied to the opposition to help safeguard votes in the coming general elections scheduled for August 8.

Speaking in Majengo Kanamai Kilifi County where he opened his Wiper Party offices Monday, the leader urged the alliance supporters to be keen throughout the voting and vote counting exercise to ensure that no foul play takes place.

He urged them to select trusted and known persons at every polling station to supervise the process.

''We want people who will be our eyes in those stations. They will help us in supervising the exercise and prevent possible cheating,'' said the former Vice President.

''We will be in personal contact with the teams to allow them alert us and tell us what is happening in all the stations,'' he said.

This is another tactic employed by the alliance to ensure that the elections are not marred by any forms of rigging. The alliance earlier said that it will establish a tallying center, parallel to that of the IEBC in a bid to curb cheating as it prepares to face President Uhuru Kenyatta in the race for State House.
