Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka says he has learned there is no reason to be angry after one loses an election.
Speaking at the National Prayers Service in Nairobi on Thursday, Kalonzo said he was among the leaders who get angered very fast because of election outcomes.
“When it comes to being angry because of political outcomes, I think I was the Number 1 culprit. One of the lessons I have learned is to never be angry at your political competitor, it does not help," Kalonzo said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga who spoke at the same event both pledged to work together in order to unite the nation during the Jubilee government's remaining term.
"Never again shall a Kenyan die because of elections. We will fight corruption together, we are committed and hope the MOU will be implemented," Raila said.
Raila said he had forgiven Uhuru following their differences during the last general elections.
The NASA co-principals Raila, Kalonzo, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and ANC's Musalia Mudavadi have not been in good terms since the controversial swearing in of the Luo political kingpin Raila.
Kalonzo and Ruto are set to lock horns in 2022 over the presidency.
