Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has taken a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta for what he terms as turning the parliamentary address into a Jubilee affair.

According to Kalonzo, also NASA Deputy Leader, Uhuru went against the wishes of the Kenyans to address the parliament when the opposition is aggrieved over what transpired during the August general elections.

Speaking during a Nasa rally in Nairobi’s Embakasi, Kalonzo said that Uhuru has set an interesting example to the world.

“You cannot call a Jubilee meeting and claim to have opened Parliament. What we saw was Jubilee MPs and the Executive but there was no Judiciary in Parliament as required! All the three Arms of Government should have been represented,” he said.

The Ukambani political kingpin also said that the change of tune by international electoral observes clearly shows that the opposition is on the right track. He further said that it is clear the Supreme Court delivered the best ruling.

The remarks of Kalonzo come after leaders of the opposition boycotted parliamentary sittings while drumming up support for Raila as he seeks to ascend to power during the fresh election scheduled on October 17.
