Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is embroiled in a bitter war of words with Deputy President William Ruto.
The two are accusing each other of being corrupt. The DP termed Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka a land grabber a tag that is commonly used against Ruto. In response, Musyoka says that the cartels that Ruto is demanding their prosecution are his former allies that bankrolled his(Ruto’s) political sail.
“Ruto has personal issues with Jimmy Wanjigi and should explain where they parted after being funded,” Kalonzo said.
The verbal war has seen the DP reveal that Kalonzo Musyoka has grabbed National Youth Service (NYS). Ruto urged Kalonzo to return the land to the youths.
“Kalonzo should return NYS land that he has turned into his home in Yatta,” said Ruto.
The battle has sacked in other politicians including Ruto’s self-proclaimed enemy Governor Hassan Joho. Joho has asked the DP to explain the hidden hand in his wealth including the choppers that he is using and the billion homestead he is setting up.
“The choppers we are using have been donated by supporters and others have been hired. Can he tell us who is paying for their [Jubilee's] choppers? We hear you are buying hotels in Nairobi and Mombasa and building a Sh1 billion home in Uasin Gishu. Can you tell Kenyans your source of money? Ruto should be the last person to talk about corruption," Joho said as quoted by the Star.
