Kalonzo argues that Uhuru took an oath to abide by the constitution and that he should ensure his officer's respect the law.

According to the Wiper Party leader, Jubilee government is setting a bad record by continuing to disobey court orders.

The Wiper leader said that the constitution is what holds Kenyans together and failure to uphold it is trading on a dangerous path.

Kalonzo said that many countries across the world have fallen because of disobeying the rule of law.

"President Kenyatta must remember that he took an oath to uphold and protect the constitution and rule of law and should make sure that his officers do the same," he said as quoted by a local daily.

Kalonzo said that Kenya is slowly losing her respect as a country that adheres to rule of law.

He said that events surrounding the deportation of Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna have tarnished the country.

"When it comes to matters rule of law and respect for human rights, there is no negotiation and the government must stop embarrassing itself through shameful acts," he added.

Kalonzo asked the Chief Justice David Maraga to intervene and ensure that court orders are respected.

President Kenyatta's government has been under criticism for disobeying court orders.

Last week, High Court Judge George Odunga convicted and fined Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and Immigration Principal Secretary Gordon Kihalangwa Sh200,000 each for disobeying court order to release self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna and present him in court.

Miguna was deported for the second time on Wednesday last weekdays after jetting into the country from Canada where he had been deported earlier in connection to his role in NASA leader Raila Odinga's swearing in as the people's president on January 30.
