Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has opened up on the health condition of his wife who has been ailing for some time now.
Pauline Musyoka returned to Kenya recently from Germany where she had been receiving treatment.
For about three months that Pauline was in hospital abroad, Kalonzo stayed by her side, skipping major political events in the country.
“She’s getting better, and thanks to prayers and support of everyone,” Kalonzo said.
In an exclusive interview with Sunday Standard, the former Vice President narrated his experience in Germany and the feeling of returning to his beloved country.
“It’s painful to be away. The weather was oppressive... snowy and in a place where nobody knows you. It was however nice as I was able to run around in the streets when I could without anybody stopping me. I missed my country, I missed my people but we thank God we are back and she’s doing well,” Kalonzo told the local daily.
Since coming back, he has joined other NASA leaders in demanding for dialogue on electoral reforms with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kalonzo has declared that he and opposition leader Raila Odinga would be sworn in unless Uhuru initiated dialogue to address electoral injustices in Kenya.
