Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has warned President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto against hatching a plot to rig the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking at Bukhungu Stadium during NASA rally, Kalonzo said that leaders of the opposition are not going to take rigging lying low as we head into the August general elections.

The Ukambani political kingpin also said that the leaders of the opposition are putting in place measures to ensure that they ascend to power in August.

“We will not accept rigging because we have put in place mechanisms to guard our votes. We are ready for the change in August and Kenyans should vote overwhelmingly for NASA, the winning team,” said Kalonzo, as quoted by SDE.

Kalonzo’s sentiments were supported by other leaders aligned to the Alliance as Raila seeks to rise to power. Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho said that he will camp at the polling station with the team to ensure that votes of the former prime minister are not stolen.

The fiery governor also took a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta for frustrating him saying that he will not stop him from defending his people. The county boss insisted that he will fight for his people as long as he remains the governor.
