According to Mwonga, it is shameful for a leader with reputable status like Kalonzo to make such claims if he does not have evidence to substantiate the same.

Speaking in his Masinga Ward, the MCA dared Kalonzo to come out and record a statement with the security personnel in regard to the matter.

He also said that this is not the time for Ukambani leaders to start pointing an accusing finger at each instead they should unite to take over power in the next general elections.

“It is painful for a parent to have his or her child kidnapped, and this is the time we should sympathize with Kiala. We shouldn’t be accusing each other because that doesn’t help,” Mwonga said, as quoted by the Star.

The politician also said that Mutua is not the only leader eyeing the seat hence he should not be labeled a kidnapper by any leader.

The MCA believes that Kiala is like a drop in the ocean when it comes to Mutua’s campaigns as looks to retain the seat in the next general polls.
