NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka led Wiper Democratic Movement's National Executive Council (NEC) and Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting where they talked about issues affecting the NASA coalition.
Kalonzo's party later issued a statement on Tuesday, saying:
"Following our Summit meeting at Stoni Athi, 8 days ago, The Wiper Democratic Movement's NEC/PG has today met and resolved as follows:
1. As a Party, we appreciate the initiative by H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga on an all-inclusive and structured dialogue. As a Party, we are on record in promoting dialogue as a way of healing our country.
2. As a Party, we support a strong National Super Alliance (NASA) with all the four political parties holding together. We support the Bomas Constitutional Draft as the basis for a review of the 2010 Constitution.
3. As a Party, we do not support the purported removal of Sen. Moses Wetangula as the Senate Minority Leader. Indeed, our position is that Wetangula holds his position courtesy of a decision by the Summit leaders – Hon. Raila Odinga, Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, as well as Sen. Wetangula himself. Wiper fully supports the Summit’s position on this matter.
God Bless Kenya."
