Speaking on Saturday, Kalonzo stated that he plans to meet the leaders and discuss the political situation in the country.

"I am ready to meet anyone including retired presidents Daniel Moi,  Mwai Kibaki and  Mama Ngina Kenyatta," Kalonzo said.

This comes after NASA leader Raila Odinga met with the two leaders after his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta on March 9.

On Thursday, Deputy President William Ruto unsuccessfully tried to meet with Moi at his Kabarak home.

It is alleged that Ruto did not have an appointment before the meeting, even though his allies accuse Baringo Senator Gideon Moi of being behind the botched meeting.

Kalonzo who was speaking during Wiper's two-day retreat at Lake Elementaita lodge in Gilgil welcomed the spirit of the handshake, national dialogue and reconciliation in the country.

He,  however, cautioned on the proposed constitutional amendment saying such changes must not be aimed at creating positions for individual leaders.
