Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has said that Jubilee has plans to scare away votes from the opposition’s strongholds.

Kalonzo, also NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, said that Jubilee party has hatched a plot to suppress.

The former vice president said that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are working with security agents to ‘throw bombs’ in order to scare away women as well as men.

Kalonzo was speaking during his tour in Lamu as the opposition drums up support for former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

"They are planning to throw bombs in Nasa strongholds to scare women, the elderly and the youth, and stop them from voting. They want to use this plan to rig. Women we are telling you not to be scared. Stand firm and vote for Nasa to eject them from power," said Kalonzo.

The Ukambani political kingpin affirmed that the opposition will only accept results of the forthcoming general elections if the exercise is free and fair.

The news comes at a time when leaders aligned to the opposition have been accusing the Jubilee leadership of using state resources to frustrate them ahead of the August general elections.
