National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential running-mate Kalonzo Musyoka has called upon supporters of the opposition to remain calm as they await the verdict of the Supreme Court.
Kalonzo, who was speaking during the inauguration ceremony for Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana at Wote town yesterday said that he is confident that the opposition will get positive feedback from the case.
He also urged the entire nation to maintain peace ahead of the hearing of the case filed on Friday.
“We must not lose hope but should remember that there is God who sits on the throne and able to deal with any difficulties,” said Kalonzo, as quoted by MediaMax network.
In the meantime, NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga has maintained that he will not accept and move on.
“We will defend our political rights and democratic space. Let the agents of foreign powers exhorting us to accept and move on so that they can continue to have lackeys to do their bidding know that we will not accept inferior governance,” Raila said during the inauguration of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho at the Mama Ngina drive.
