Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said there are no permanent enemies in politics.
Addressing leaders and Machakos residents during the celebration of Mashujaa day on Thursday October 20, he asked people to learn from the political trends giving an example where some of his party political leaders had shifted to Jubilee party.
"There are no political enemies when it comes to politics. People should learn from the political trends in the country. The president here, Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto and other leaders in the government are my good friends. In politics we only differ in ideologies," said Kalonzo.
He further called on Kenyans to understand the trends in the politics of the country. He also called on the various leaders in the country to preach peace and co-existence among Kenyans.
Kalonzo also called on the leaders to carry out development of their jurisdictions without favoritism of any kind. He concluded by thanking the president of carrying out development in Machakos and other areas of the country and called for an end to corruption in the country.
