Speaking at Mashujaa Day celebration in Machakos County Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who was accompanied by his Cord co-principal Moses Wetangula, told president Uhuru Kenyatta that those who defected to his camp will not be re-elected come next year.
"In the recent past individuals have migrated from my party including my governor (referring to Machakos County governor, Alfred Mutual) who has welcomed you here who also joined Jubilee. I want to present them to you (the president) these are now your people," Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo further told the president not to be surprised if it is Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula who opens Dual-carriage way project in Machakos. "Do not be surprised Mr President in a very polite and firm way that next year, the governor talks of 2019, I am quite sure you will not have a problem if it is your brother here opening the dual carriageway," he said.
For the defectors from his Wiper Party to the newly formed Jubilee party, Kalonzo told the President not to be surprised if they all went home.
"For those who have betrayed the faith of the people, Mr President do not be surprised if they all go home next year," he said.
