2016 Dignitary Man of Africa and Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be presiding over the second graduation ceremony of Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) on 30th September.
The former vice president, who doubles as the institution's Vice Chancellor and one of its founders, is set to depart from the Jomo Kenyetta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday ahead of the grand event that will go down at Silver Springs Hotel in Kampala.
Uganda's State Minister for Higher Education, Hon Dr John Chrysostom Muyingo has been confirmed by the University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Benon Basheka as being the Chief guest during the event.
The institution which is less than four years old has gradually passed through the infancy period and is already at a level of competing favorably with older universities
UTAMU recently bagged a most coveted award having been named the best university in Uganda that uses digital education.
