His correction comes after Uhuru termed Cord co-principal Raila Odinga a tribalist who hates peace.

Speaking in Nairobi after Wiper’s National Executive Council meeting, Kalonzo said the President is an equal partner in the electioneering process.

Kalonzo’s sentiments were echoed by Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi who said president Kenyatta should not conceal his panic using threats.

“Let President Kenyatta appreciate that he is a candidate like any other for purposes of the electioneering process. It is not in his place to threaten the arrest of competitors,” Kalonzo said. ANC chief asked Uhuru to point out hate in Raila’s speech.

He said that election rigging revelations by Odinga were the reality that Jubilee does not want to be told.

Mudavadi said, “Raila is merely being a Good Samaritan and a responsible citizen. Uhuru should instead thank him for sound advice.”
