Nasa co-principal, Kalonzo Musyoka has been urged by a section of Jubilee MPs to ditch Nasa and join the ruling party now that Raila Odinga has withdrawn from the October 26 repeat poll.The lawmakers said ditching National Super Alliance would allow the Wiper Party leader to team up with Deputy President William Ruto in the 2022 State House race.Speaking during a campaign rally in Ikanga, Kitui County, Kitui South MP, Rachel Nyamai said Kalonzo had been misled by Odinga. “Kalonzo is a great leader who has been misled politically by the Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga.” Said Nyamai.The Kitui South MP urged Kitui residents and the Kamba community at large to switch allegiance and support Jubilee government.Nominated MP Maina Kamanda, urged the Kitui voters not to heed to the opposition’s calls to hold demonstrations against the IEBC and instead focus on their duty to build the nation.“Do not accept to demonstrate and vandalize infrastructures that are supposed to help you,” said Maina Kamanda.
