Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has asked Members of Parliament to scrutinize this year’s financial budget ahead of August general election.
Speaking during a rally in Malindi, Kalonzo said that National Super Alliance (NASA) is not ready to inherit debts that will be left behind by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto as they vacate their offices in August.
The former vice president asked the MP to be very vigilant this time round to ensure that the budget presented is accurate in order to allow for smooth transition.
“NASA will inherit a budget of Jubilee in August after getting into power. Civil servants may steal money...MPs should be alert,’’ he said, as quoted by Star.
The Ukambani political Kingpin also bashed out at leaders defecting from NASA to back the re-election for failing their people adding that they are corrupt rejects.
Kalonzo also said that the NASA government will deal with pollsters for giving Kenyans false information.
“We are going to deal with you mundu hu mundu (person to person). Each time Kalonzo is given 10 per cent... I have been Vice President...I will not allow you to destroy Kenya. I will deal with you."
The outspoken leader has insisted that he is still the best candidate to beat UhuRuto despite being the second according to the recently released polls.
