NASA has warned IEBC against harassing its agents. Led by flag bearer Raila Odinga and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the opposition alliance has demanded that any agent with a letter bearing Raila’s ODM symbol to be allowed and deceased from asking for a NASA symbol.
Most of the agents had letter heads bearing Raila's symbol instead of that of the National Super Alliance. He urged the electoral body to direct its officials to stop asking appointment letters.
"IEBC must order RO's to stop frustrating my agents in the pretext of asking for appointment letters. They are on my personal letterhead, not NASA's," Raila tweeted on Tuesday as reported by the Star.
Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka echoed his cry. He said that each party has its symbol as the letter heads because they are part of the coalition.
"My leader Raila is in ODM and I am in Wiper. Both of us are in NASA. So they should be allowed at the station. If they had any problem with us they should have said so from the start. They assured us there was no problem. Why now?" he quizzed before casting his vote.
