The National Super Alliance (NASA) is struggling to remain united and running mate Kalonzo Musyoka has warned his presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
The former Vice President is under siege after he was deserted by close allies including Machakos senator Johnson Muthama. The senator said he will campaign for Raila but has nothing to do with Kalonzo and Wiper. This has forced Musyoka to warn Odinga against entertaining Muthama.
“There will come a time when I will ask Raila to choose whether to work Muthama or Kalonzo,” Musyoka said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Meanwhile, Musyoka was booed in Kitui during the burial of Senator David Musila’s mother. Things went out of hand when Kalonzo tried to cleanse himself from any malicious deals in the primaries.
The crowd was infuriated despite him promising to give back Musila the chairmanship post in Wiper in case he is floored by incumbent Malombe. Muthama took the opportunity to attack Wiper party boss and Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti.
The scene has forced Musyoka to warn Muthama against mudslinging. He said that Muthama should confirm whether he is with NASA or Jubilee. Wiper boss has been battling defections and now he wants Odinga to shun Muthama and other defectors.
