Nyando MP Fred Outa has again stired debate over who should wield Cord's presidential flag in 2017.
Outa said only ODM party leader Raila Odinga has the capacity to dislodge President Uhuru Kenyatta from State House.
He said Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) should wait for 2022 to contest.
He spoke on Saturday during the buria of former Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia player James Sianga in Ugenya, Siaya.
"He will be on the ballot, so treat rumours going round that Raila Odinga will be supporting someone else in next year's presidential race as speculation and propaganda," he sid.
Cord co-principals Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka have indicated that they are in the race to carry Cord presidential flag during the polls.
