Speaking during a voter registration drive in Embakasi area in Nairobi, Kalonzo said he shelved his presidential bid in 2013 in favour of Raila and that it was now time the former Prime Minister returned the gesture in the forthcoming elections.

"Ndugu zetu wa ODM tuliwajaribia. Wajaribu Wiper sasa waone vile itakuwa. (We supported our ODM colleagues, it is now time they return the favour for Wiper)," he said on Sunday.

The former Vice President reiterated that he is the favourite candidate among National Super Alliance (NASA) principals to dislodge the Jubilee regime from power.

"I am sure if we remain united as opposition and my colleagues support me to contest against Uhuru, I will deliver victory before 8 a.m," said Kalonzo.

He noted that Jubilee will only be removed from power if his co-principals in NASA, Raila Odinga (ODM), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford-Kenya) remain united.

Musyoka also urged Embakasi residents to register as voters in the ongoing mass voter registration and help the opposition win the coming elections.
