Addressing the press at Athi River in Machakos County on Thursday, Muthama said NASA was on course, "nothing has changed and after consultations Kalonzo will proceed to take an oath."

Muthama said the absence of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani's Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula during the NASA leader Raila Odinga's swearing in as the People's President at Uhuru Park on on January 30 was not meant to sabotage the opposition coalition.

“ Kalonzo will be sworn in at the appropriate time decided by NASA and Kenyans, we will give this country the leadership it deserves," Muthama said.

He rubbished the claims that the coalition is on its death bed saying that their mission of liberating Kenya is still on.

“Nothing has changed, Kalonzo is still the second in command in NASA after Raila and you should treat rumors from our political nemesis that NASA is crumbling with the contempt they deserve," he added.

Muthama said the fact that the People's Assemblies motion was passed in NASA counties is true definition it is intact.

Muthama's sentiments were seconded by Makueni woman representative Rose Museo who shot at critics in NASA coalition scorning Kalonzo for failing to take oath .

“Hatufurahii kuona viongozi wakimtukana Kalonzo,Yeye alitufunza kumweshimu Raila Odinga, na kwa hivyo wao pia wampe heshima yake. (We Wiper leaders are not happy to see Kalonzo being insulted by some other leaders within the coalition, he taught us to respect Raila Odinga and therefore theyshould also respect him)," Museo said.
