Makau says that they (Wiper) are determined to move on with or without the support of the former Prime Minister.

Speaking to journalists at Parliament Buildings in Nairobi on Wednesday,  Makau accused ODM   of being keen on ending the NASA coalition in efforts to scuttle Kalonzo’s 2022 bid.

The Wiper lawmaker maintained that ODM leader Raila Odinga’s meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta without the knowledge of Kalonzo and other NASA principals had a hidden agenda.

“They are telling us that the meeting was about national unity, but to us (Wiper) it was a plot by the ODM leader to abandon the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he signed with Kalonzo in 2017 in regards to the 2022 general election,” he said.

Makau claimed that ODM party has continued to allegedly disregard other affiliate members in NASA.

The vocal second term MP said that their push for Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential bid is unstoppable.

“We are prepared and our resolve is to make sure that Kalonzo is on the presidential ballot in 2022,” the second time lawmaker said.

On Tuesday,  Makau  was forcefully ejected out of Parliament after he sat on  Minority leader John Mbadi’s seat.

Makau claimed that Mbadi was no longer the Minority  Leader after his party leader Raila Odinga signed a pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta last week.

President Kenyatta’s last week meeting with Raila continues to draw reactions across the divide.

NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula who were not briefed about the last Friday meeting have since agreed to wider and inclusive national dialogue.

On Tuesday during the ODM Parliamentary Group meeting at Orange House in Nairobi, Raila maintained that his meeting with Uhuru was for the interest of the country.

Kalonzo’s party meets on Friday to discuss his 2022 bid and decided on its future in the NASA coalition.

On Wednesday, Kalonzo said that  he alongside Mudavadi and Wetangula are seeking a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta to get details of that the president discussed with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga when they met last week.
