The lawmaker has said that Duale has been among the leaders who have been on the fore front in opposing the appointment of leaders to join the assembly, which has cost this nation as we head to the next general elections.

“Honorable Duale has been the stumbling block in this whole matter because he has vested political interest in who gets nominated to the regional assembly,” he said.

The sentiments of the lawmaker were reiterated by Outgoing EALA MP Peter Mathuki who also pointed an accusing finger at leaders aligned to the Jubilee administration over the stalemate.

The vocal legislator, who is the running mate of former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti, said that leaders  of the opposition and Jubilee  have been speaking a different language, which is not good for this nation.

“As we speak now, the Parliament of East Africa cannot proceed because Kenya has not given names of her representatives to the assembly and that tells you that the country is obviously not holding together and those are bad signs,” said Mathuki.
