Wiper top brass has downplayed claims that the members of the political outfit are being sidelined in making key decisions in the National Super Alliance (NASA).
In an exclusive interview with The Star, the leaders affirmed that they are comfortable in the alliance, adding that the rumors that they have being taken for a ride are ill-driven and all-time.
Deputy party leader Farah Maalim and vice chairman Victor Ogeto said that they are firm members of the alliance, adding that they will continue to support the agenda of the Former Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga who has since formed a resistance movement to push for another election in the nation.
“We are firmly in NASA. We know our objectives, which we will pursue within NASA, anything else is diversionary,” Ogeto said, as quoted by the local daily. He also dismissed allegations of a rift among the leaders of the political movement.
His remarks were echoed by Maalim who said that there is nothing to be sorted in the alliance as it is being speculated by the media houses.
“That is untrue. The leadership of Wiper can say categorically there is nothing of the sort. Nothing could be further from the truth,” he said.
